BANK 2 BANK 2024
Bank 2 Bank 2024 will take place on December 8th 2024 at Lake Boga VIC out the front of Lake Boga Catalina Museum.

The day will consist of the 3 main events (listed below) and more.

Bank 2 Bank Swim (3.1km)
The swim will begin at the swimming zone at the most distant toilet block located around Lakeside Drive (Point A on the map below) and will end at the swimming zone between the swimming pier and the boat ramp in Jacaranda Cresent (Point C).
​Swimmers MUST have a support person who will follow them in a kayak / canoe who is over the age of 16.​ Failure to do so will result in being unable to participate.
​
This may be done as an individual event OR as a duo. The duo event MUST include only two individuals who will alternate between swimmer and paddler.
Prizes
$300 Cash Prizes for first Male and Female (Senior 19+)
$200 Cash Prize for first Duo
$150 Cash Prizes for first Male and Female (Junior 18 and Under) ​
To beat the December heat, the swim will start @ 8am

3.1km Swim T&C:
- Minimum age for swimmers in the 3.1km swim is 12 years of age. Paddlers must be over the age of 16. For the duo event, one member of the duo must be over the age of 16.
- For a duo to enter the swim, please enter a team name and then complete two separate registrations that are assigned to this team name. For more help, contact us.

- Paddlers do not need to register. Names will be recorded on the day on check in.​
​
- Cut off time for the swim is 2 hours. After this, you will be collected by the support vessel and returned to either the start or finish line.
​
Bank 2 Bank 5km Run/Walk
The course will begin at point A and take off at the same time as the swimmers! The run will then head southerly for 250m, turn at point B and follow the course around to point C! This way the run will measure to be 5km and having the same starting and ending point as the main swim event!

The run/walk will begin at 8am, the same time as the Bank 2 Bank Swim

Swim Around the
Buoy
The approximately 200m Swim Around the Buoy is the perfect choice of event for those less experienced/junior swimmers who still want to be a part of the event!
​
Swimmers will leave from point C, swim out to a buoy and back to the bank.
​
The Swim Around the Buoy will take place at 8.30am.
​

Saturday Social Dinner @ Lake Boga Waterski Club
Saturday 7th December from 6pm.
Join us at the Lake Boga Waterski Club on the Saturday night prior to the big day! Fuel up with food provided by the Ski Club, meet fellow participants and purchase event merchandise!

$10 per person / $50 max per family.
​
Pasta, salad, BBQ, soft drinks and more. BYO alcohol.
​

B2B Kayak Hire
After feedback from our inaugural event that sourcing and transporting a kayak was a barrier for a lot of potential travelling entrants, we now have kayaks available for hire!
T&C’s
- As there are only 8 kayaks available, they are exclusively for those travelling over 100km to Lake Boga.
- Hire is $25 per kayak to be paid on the day of the event.
- To secure one for the event, you must email our team and it is first in best dressed!
- If there are still kayaks available after a certain date, we will open them up to be available to locals/those within 100km of Lake Boga.
Saturday Morning Swimming Training
Join Kendall at Lake Boga Yacht Club for our free B2B swim training!

These sessions will take place every Saturday morning at 9am from November 2nd.
​
Highly recommended to all participants taking part in the 3.1km Swim to experience a range of conditions and master open water skills.
​
